David is a senior construction executive with over 30 years of diversified leadership experience in the commercial construction and real estate sector. His areas of specialization include civil, industrial, office, medical and bulk distribution environments.
David has strong team leadership and project management skills, with significant contributions in construction management, site supervision and design management at all levels of operations. He is knowledgeable about various delivery methods including construction management, design/build, bid projects and self-performing contracts.

David Ledford, LEED AP, joined Fischer Contractors in 2011. As Director of Construction, he is responsible for company-wide construction operations and project oversight.
He specializes in commercial and light industrial projects including retail, office, financial, educational, warehouses and engineering consulting as well as renewable energy projects.
David brings many years of diverse experience to the team. In his role as Director of Construction, David is responsible for overseeing projects from conception to completion. His accomplishments include:

Construction management team leader for 9 million dollar capital improvement program for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta.
As a management team member, directly involved in Fischer Contractors growing into one of the leading installers of photovoltaic solar panels in the southeast.
In addition, David has certificates for OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training, OSHA Fall Protection Training, Scaffolding and is First Aid and CPR certified.
