Julie Fischer – Director of Marketing

Julie Fischer is an experienced sales and marketing professional with over 15 years of success in both the retail and media industries.  Ms. Fischer has successfully led teams and managed vendors to generate sales and increased income for the companies she has represented.

Ms. Fischer was born in Charleston,SC and grew up in Greenville, OH and Union, SC.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the College of Charleston where she also spent time studying abroad in France. 

Ms. Fischer began her career with Bally Total Fitness in Atlanta, GA in their retail and sales department.  While at Bally’s she successfully transformed two underperforming retail stores to top performers in their district and was the southeast retail manager of the year.  Due to her success she was quickly promoted to District Sales Training Manager where she was responsible for the development and training of personnel and helped to significantly increase sales for her district.  She also became part of the retail store roll out program and was responsible for opening retail facilities throughout the southeast and the San Francisco Bay area.  While in this role she assisted in the design of retail store layout, marketing, product displays, promotions and merchandising.

Ms. Fischer then went to work for Katz Media/Continental Television Sales in Atlanta, GA where she worked in account sales and maintained advertising sales accounts for major clients including Ford, Dodge, Jeep and Home Depot.  She served as the liaison between clients and television stations for pricing and placement of television commercials, assisted in the development of quarterly advertising budgets and revisions and was responsible for negotiating revisions to advertising contracts that were not fulfilled due to station or content conflicts.

Ms. Fischer then accepted a position with the local CBS television station in Cleveland, OH where she worked in account sales and maintained accounts within the 15th largest television market in the US including McDonald’s, Ford, Lincoln-Mercury and Arby’s.  She was responsible for negotiating revisions of client contracts to ensure equal ratings and value of rescheduled advertising, coordination of annual new client seminars and developing various sales presentations.

Most recently Ms. Fischer worked for Clear Channel Radio in Atlanta, GA as a media coordinator where she was responsible for $27 million in account maintenance including Home Depot, Rhodes, and Bellsouth.  She had exclusive focus on the #1 billing Advertising Agency in the Atlanta office.  Ms. Fischer developed and implemented processes and procedures for the sales department.

Among her many interests, Ms. Fischer is an avid runner and is active in her church.  She resides in Alpharetta, GA with her husband and three children.
