Doug Wooldridge – Superintendent

Doug Wooldridge is a seasoned superintendent with over 20 years of construction experience.  His career includes experience as a city building inspector, residential, retail and industrial superintendent.

Mr. Wooldridge grew up in Louisville, KY.  He worked for the City of Suwanee as a Building Inspector where his responsibilities included all aspects of residential and commercial inspections to validate that the building process was in order and up to code.  While in this position Mr. Wooldridge gained diverse knowledge in all aspects of the building process and systems including roofing, plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, foundations, etc.  He also performed infrastructure improvement & repair inspections for water lines, roads and erosion control.  In his position with the city Mr. Wooldridge was very effective in communicating concisely with a wide audience including city officials, general contractors, subcontractors and local residents.

Mr. Wooldridge then advanced to become a Superintendent for WD Thomas Homes in Suwanee, GA.  He was responsible for overseeing the construction of custom homes that ranged in value from $350,000 to $1.6 million.  Mr. Wooldridge worked with subcontractors from all facets of the building industry including grading contractors, concrete crews, framers, plumbing, HVAC, electrical contractors, drywall, trim, and paint crews.  He maintained excellent working relationships with county and city officials and a high standard of quality for performance on each job.  He coordinated intensive work schedules in advance, meeting deadlines for each component of the project bringing all projects in on time and within budget.  Mr. Woodridge also trained new superintendents, managed punch out and warranty crews and worked with homeowners to insure customer satisfaction.

Mr. Wooldridge was then recruited by Mimms Enterprises in Roswell, GA where he was responsible for the oversight of new construction of interior finishes for industrial and retail suites.  Responsibilities included daily interaction, communication and coordination with architects, city officials, fire marshals and tenants.  Mr. Wooldridge coordinated up to as many as six projects at any time, ensuring projects stayed on schedule and under budget.  He supervised activities and work crews on each site to insure compliance with project needs and local municipality requirements. 

Among his many interests, Mr. Wooldridge enjoys spending time with his family and is an active member of his church.  He resides in Canton, GA with his wife and two children.
